Lord knows my credibility for predictions is shot here. LOL But here goes anyway.

Texas 44

OSU 21

Here's the "why"

Offense continues to click and improve. OSU's defense doesn't put up much of a fight with anybody.

Defense has something to prove this week. Charlie is now involved. Sense of urgency is heightened. Some new talent will now see the field. This equals a better than average defensive performance is at hand, IMO.

IMO, the name "JAMES WASHINGTON" has been floating around the locker room all week, particularly where the secondary resides. This will be a real test for them. Have they arrived? Or not? They're now in the spotlight.

This game is hard for me to predict. The Cowboys have played two very hard fought games with a win against Pitt and loss to Baylor and I think they will bring that same energy to the field on Saturday. For Texas it will be about the running game and how our offensive line does without Perkins. I also wonder if Shane will take off an run with the ball when the opportunity comes or will the Coaches nix any thought of such with the concern of him getting injured. I think the threat of Shane being able to run just adds an extra deminsion to our offense. I don't think our Defense especially the secondary will be able to shut down the Cowboys offense as much as we hope for . They will get their yardage and points as Gundy will create some wrinkles that will cause us problems. With all that being said I look for a high scoring game and Longhorn victory as we again score over 40 points. Texas  47  Okie Lite 38

48 to 35.......osu.  Horns can't slow them down and can't outscore them. Injury to Boo will be a factor.

I'm going to go the Big 12 shootout route. Texas 45-41.

I hope the defense improves enough to hold them to 41. I'm going out on a limb and saying Horns get a special teams score somehow.

I said 30-27 Texas on the podcast last night. The Oklahoma State guy said 45-28 OSU. My pick was with my heart so I am really not sure what happens but what I do know if the Horns play like they against Cal it will be a long night and the beginning of the end for Strong era at Texas.

The pokes have dropped 2, probably should have been 3.  They've played Southeastern Louisiana  :D  , CMU, Pitt and BU.

They were unable to establish a run game against the first three opponents, they didn't miraculously find one versus BU.

Rudy is a solid QB, not mobile.

They have A talented receiver. Stoner out for the season, WR had 5 catches on the season.

IT's an 11:00 am kick in Stillwater, that doesn't favor the home team and beats playing their at night.

Texas is coming off a 2 week period with a bye to heal and game plan while adding to the offense and simplify coverage.

This style of offense just put up 387 passing/136 rushing for 35 points and that team continues to start out slow versus every opponent they have played.

Shane is fine!

Texas wins 41-27 or at least I hope they do. :P   Bonus points:  The visiting team has won the last 7, bad with the good...Those teams were all favored.

BCF toys Pokes 32-26, They're 147-47 on the season and only have Texas favored to win 2 more games.

i'm hoping that gilbert adds some new plays entering conference play.  i think we've only run about 5 different plays all season (that's an exaggeration for those who will be fact checking).  in any case, i think we still have problems on D; without KP our running game may take a shot; without a running game, we'll be forced to pass, so hopefully our pass protection will hold.

38-35 UT

Wait a minute come to think of it damn my mind slipped I'm not going to able to watch the game I'll be at work
