Commitments Today

The visits went well. We should have a few roll in today. The kids know that we don't have many offers to give since the majority of the class is already committed so, they are aware that it behooves them to lock their slot up as soon as possible.

Here is what I'm being told. The staff expects at least 5 and as high as 10 leave the program due to attrition. It would not surprise me if we take as high as 27 commitments this year.

I hear we feel really good about them. I do not think an exact date has been set but, we are confident he is coming in.

I agree with you that Harvey flips. He's been making comments lately about Texas. Just a feeling I have. If Charlie talks to him, he will be ours.

This should be expected. Whenever there is a coaching change, players are going to leave. I'm just happy none of those 3 were Diggs, Brown, or Reed.

Every single year I played beyond Junior High involved brutal off- and pre-season work to get those who weren't all-in to take up cheerleading or something. CCS may not be trying to drive anyone off, but the effect will be the same. Star-power never trumps will-power.

That has nothing to do with having an offer or not. It would be pretty dumb to decommit without having another offer this late in the game.
