I hear ya on your first point. Could apply that concept to any sport really if you have enough money. Imagine the football team have 30 scholarship quality players as "walk-ons" who just so happen to get 6 figure NIL deals.My point is if players are getting NIL money they don’t really need scholarship money. But maybe they can’t get NIL money unless they are on scholarship?
All athletes can get NIL deals regardless of scholarship. Heck, the previous rules prevented athletes from making money off of their Name, Image and Likeness so its quite the opposite.
