Coaching Changes, Rumors, Misc.

The stuff about Mehinger tipping plays has been debunked by every major site and many others. Nothing more than internet rumors...
I think you went a little off the reservation with that one.

1. No, you didn't check every major site (and more) to support what you're saying.

2. Some sites have attempted to track it down while others have not bothered. But just because you didn't find anything doesn't mean you've debunked anything. Debunking means you found evidence to the contrary. That hasn't happened. "I haven't heard that" or "I don't think he would do that" isn't proof of anything.

But you're a good guy, I don't care what they say . . . lol

Not only did I miss the reports that there were rumors about Mehringer tipping plays, I also missed the reports that debunked those rumors. And I read most of what is reported on most of the sites.

I have seen this reported as a rumor on two sites but not a single refutal.

Who was it that was defending Harrell's run to pass ratio? It's the 4th quarter in their bowl game and they have run it nine times.  :P

this video gets me excited, he was already successful with Gundy but he’s been in Columbus just soaking up all that knowledge to put on top of what he already knew. If things go right, this could be a program changing hire. This is so so so good for Texas. Like if he’s as good as we think he will be he will only be around for a couple of seasons, he’s at Texas to be a head coach somewhere.

I suppose you’re talking about me as I pointed out his offense historically was 40-45% run with statistics backing it up.  I guess the one bowl game shows his real offensive identity huh?

It’s hard not to drink the kool aid with Yurcich but I need to calm myself down before the imminent letdown that surely awaits.

He used the word “humbled” when he should have used “honored.”  A common mistake but a heinous one nevertheless.  The letdown could be huge.
