IMO, Applewhite will be a slam-dunk hire for Texas State if they can get him.

Traylor may be good, too, but he's still a comparative newbie in the college ranks. Applewhite has relationships with HS coaches throughout the state and I'm sure he learned a few good lessons on how Urban Meyer runs a CFB program from Tom Herman.
