Coaching Carousel Nuclear Winter

Numbers Don’t Support Firing Successful Coaches

  • Michigan did it with Lloyd Carr, who won 75 percent of his games. His replacements, Rich Rodriguez and Brady Hoke, never came close to that percentage.
  • Nebraska did it with Bo Pelini, who won 9 or 10 games each year he was at the helm. Pelini was replaced by Mike Riley, who in his first season finished with a losing record.
  • Texas replaced Mack Brown with Charlie Strong. Brown won nearly 77 percent of his games in Austin. Strong is struggling at only 44 percent.

Yes, was a joke

Everything to do with Bo is a joke

Odom was Missouri DC -- Memphis almost got him

He came from the Texas high school ranks and is considered a good recruiter

Not the best news for us

Someone needs to put the video on here showing Barry Odom being introduced to the Missouri players as their new coach. It's pretty neat.

I would do it but I don't know to do that kind of stuff  :(

IMO, no way I'd leave OSU for Cleveland
The Browns owner, Jimmy Haslam, is a sleaze-ball.

Word is, his coaches didn't want Little Johnny. Haslam wanted the publicity and hype to sell tickets. It's a poorly run organization.
