I like Franklin and have been on his bandwagon since last season, but how did Chip go from Fisher to Franklin practically overnight?
I just can't take what Chip reports with much more than a grain of salt anymore.

He thinks Fisher is the leader. He is saying that Franklin is also a consideration, not the leading contender.

I've warmed up on Fisher. I could be happy if it turned out to be him.

Just think how bad our QB play is looking for next year. Fisher has a better record of developing QBs than You-know-who.

Its funny, my friend on the inside has shut off all info regarding the coaching search. 2 wks ago it was like a dam broke when the civil war was going on regarding Powers, Mack , Regents, and the BMD's, in the past 10 days it is stone quiet.

This is exactly what needs to happen. Nobody in the know with an agenda of hiring Nick Saban, or anybody to coach the Longhorns should utter a word about anything until the contract is signed. Radio silence, people!
