Guys,We apologize for the server crashing. The chat was overloaded and the process killed itself. I am trying to determine if the "Poking Chinamen" had anything to do with it. I am in the process of profiling this system to see what needs to fixed, more secure, bigger, faster, deprecated, etc... I appreciate your patience. If you have any suggestions or questions, please email me.

Thanks Linux. It's never a bad thing when a site is growing so fast that it is unable to keep up. Wish I could do something to help.

Y'all are doing great. I appreciate y'all not getting defensive with our jokes about the servers and instead just rolling with it and trying to fix it! It's attractive and makes me want HS even more.

Thanks. It's a good problem to have.

Linux Horn, aka "The Big O" is doing some good work here for us!

We're still moving to a new server next week. With a new server and LinuxHorn's mad skillz, we will be on fire, NBA Jam style.

Why dont you do a chat like OB's or like IT did tonight. Just start a thread, have people ask questions and the mods answer each one they feel is relevant?

It's all good. Growing pains are a pain for sure, now that's deep right there...lol...but if you weren't doing something really good here you would indeed be pain free. Hang in there...I know we will.

Shoot McP a message. I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

I generally blacklist the ip address blocks from China. Slows them down a little bit.

That's what we are doing, as well as shutting down known login names.
