I hate to hear any coach being dismissed. I think he raised the talent level at Kansas since he arrived, but Kansas' poor record indicates that the level of play has stayed the same.

Charlie Strong has now dismissed Charlie Weiss as head coach.

Weiss has it made. I'd never coach again. Now drawing big ass checks from Notre Dame and Kansas not to coach.

Two thoughts:

• I'd have lost money on the airplane seat bet.  I would've thought he had a custom-made bench seat taking up an entire row.
• Oh the horror-he lost the university's homecoming game.  GASP!!

Weis hasn't done much to be kept. Kansas hasn't done a great job recruiting imo to be honest. Kansas could be a pretty decent program.

Charlie Weis is one of the most over rated coaches, he almost ruined ND and he hasnt done Kansas any favors...NICE guy,and he might have been a good coordinator for Belicheck, but he has shown he isnt HC material

This is an awesome campus. . .KSU has proved their are plenty of JUCOs to take and a good coach (Weiss isn't one) could recruit Texas 3 stars and turn the program into something. . . 

Guy needs to give 10% of his salary every year to Tom Brady. . .who clearly did everything to build his rep. . . . 

PS, I generally don't rip opponent QBs in the Cheap Seats but did this week before I knew Charlie was canned.
