Charlie Strong's Press Conference

[primal defense]

Very impressive performance by Coach Strong. I'm sure they having someone working with him. Also, I could tell he's excited for the season to start.

I was excited to hear the confidence he had in the freshman to help at the skill positions. This just built up my confidence that we have a coach that knows what he's doing. He closed the press conference perfectly.

The video is 28 minutes, it will get ready for the start of Longhorn football.

Good to hear!  Definitely will come back and watch this tomorrow.  Caught some highlights on the news.

Old timers and students of Longhorn football will know DKR struggled with speaking in front of crowds and media early on and worked hard at it. Not too many are naturals at it.

Charlie will probably never have a book of his quotes published but I love his message.

Giving speeches is a matter of practice and learning from others. I was a member of toastmasters and that's a good way to improve if you want to give speeches.

More folks are scared of giving a speech than are scared of snakes.

Shouldn't this excellent caricature of Strong have a mock turtle neck? Is the mock turtle just for game day? Should be posting these questions in the questions thread for our staff to evaluate.

No, CFS rocks the buttoned-up polos too.
