I hate to say it but the for most part . .. it's a script. . . 

Not sure CFS doesn't have some Jimmy Johnson in him. . . motivating players via the press.  . .

I've been to both practices & every media availability they've had. I agree with both points & have a rough draft on expectations for Saturday that speaks to your theme.

They typically hand them out before the game.

I said it on another board and I agree with some posters here. I think Strong is just playing some mind games with the QB's, especially Heard. There's no question in my mind that after the Arkansas game, Strong was already looking to start Heard this fall but I think he also recognized the fact that his passing game had to improve. By spending all Spring talking up Swoopes improvement, It really lite a fire under Heard. You could see it in his tweets and now it's starting to show in his play.

Never forget who Strong's mentor was, Lou Holtz. He was the king of sandbagging and playing mind games.

After watching the press conference another thing Strong said I thought was interesting was about the QB's getting hit. He said I only have 2 if one goes down it will be like last year(only 1 QB) it shows he never intended to play JH. He didn't even think of him as being a viable option.
