My guess is you'll get a blended answer, but this is our first week, so that's just a guess.
I agree with you. I, also, would like for them to remain a weekly feature. I am not staff, but it seems to me that this is just a temporary move during the slow season. Also, the impression that I have gathered from reading this forum as well as others that I can read for free, is that, quite frankly, with the change of the coaching regimes, access to those in the know at all levels changed. My impression is that there is a new Sheriff in town, and that "public relations" are being handled in a completely different way - old sources apparently dried up across the board with everybody, and new ones will evolve over time. But, then again, I am not on staff here or anywhere else ... so my two cents worth on the subject ain't worth too awful much. Seems to me that with the new staff here that there is the opportunity for this forum to grow over time with it's content, and considering the fact that this is a relatively new forum compared to some of the others, we probably will see an increase in unique content as the new football and basketball seasons approach. As for me, I will hide and watch, and see what transpires.
I guess it depends on what you're defining as content. I see lots of stories every week by others.
