Listening to Chip this morning an then this afternoon (104.9) to Erin and Bucky... Tom Herman, OC from Ohio State has the strongest connections to Texas landscape, among remaining top favorites, and Chad Morris most likely is not a factor. The Regents would have to approve the buyout; likely not a path that will succeed. I expect it will be the OC from Ohio State. There is a strong coaching tree connection with Urban, and that offense could be a good compromise between open-it-up and own-the-line and the game. The 104.9 group this afternoon also speaking positively that Wickline as O-line coach from Okla-State could be, and would be a great hire to go with Herman.

On that, I meant all of them... Strong, Urban, Herman. I think they were all together at Florida for the title runs. Someone correct me if Herman was not in that bunch. Strong was.

They are playing everything close to the vest so almost nothing is getting out. I do know for a fact that Tom Herman has been spoken to about the job and that there was some excitement around the discussions.
