He said that UT was out awhile ago, so why put them on the list? He could have put anyone in that final spot and wouldn't have really mattered.

Haven't talked to Momo since around that time.  He's at the O-D bowl, but once he gets back I plan to get with him.  I know that sources in the program said he'd be evaluated as a possibility once Orlando was in place.

I would be shocked is Orlando is even one of the leading contenders for the position at U Conn. It's more likely that he's just a name that someone in the media threw out there as a possibility.

Orlando has been put in place as our DC since the UH game ended. He's on our staff and drawing a salary.

Now whether UConn offers him the job and he heads there is a different story, but as of right now, he is officially the DC of the University of Texas

Reports are that Edsall is headed back to UCONN.  Orlando will be the DC at Texas.
