Burnt Ends (6-22)

Thought a lot about this when I evaluated him.

1) Refugio is a power house

2) the competition is poor

3) The things on tape that would transfer to all levels are strong.  Arm strength, accuracy, etc.
The most underrated QB in the '17 class IMO is Avery Davis. I think he actually ends up being better than both Ehlinger and Mascorro. Davis' offer list is certainly better right now, but he's ranked lower for most recruiting services.

Ehlinger is supposed to be taking an unofficial visit today at Texas and will probably be offered and might very well commit.

Rumor has it that he will work out with Brett Favre prior to meeting with the coaches.
Favre is in Austin recruiting for the Horns huh? No selfies please Brett.

I like Davis I need to see more of him. Cedar Hill will be a priority this year
Would you agree the '17 QB class is much better than the '16 and '15 classes in Texas?

I also hear a ton about Mond out of Reagan and Robison out of Horn. Seems like there's a lot of quality QBs in Texas for '17.

Absolutely loaded. QB's make up 8 of our top 50. Best year in state since 2009 I'd say and that class turned out to be pretty disappointing. Jason Shelley of Frisco lone star is another not to mention Tylan Wallace of south hills to go along with Robinson, Ehlinger, Mascorro, Davis, Robinson (from Horn), and Mond.

Mike, are we not after the Wallace kid from DeSoto? Kid can ball. DeSoto is a different team when he's behind center.

I think they'd take him as a second option if he were up for it but seems like the staff backed off Wallace when he committed to Ohio State. He has a long way to go as a passer but if anyone can turn him into one it's Urban

'The roster is loaded for a run to Omaha in 2016...'. Coming off a 3rd place finish in 2014 and a preseason top-10 team, wasn't that the prediction for this year too?
