Saw elsewhere that Buechele likely has a cracked rib.

That would explain the off throws that he been pin point on the 2 games before. I'd say if I have a cracked rib I wouldn't have been back in the game lol.

I was surprised he went back in the game. It looked like another Colt McCoy Alabama injury.

He'll be fine, he came back in and played through it. A week off will work wonders for a rib. Then again next time you get hit that pain is coming right back.

He's 19 with remarkable healing powers. It's much better than a separated rib. They will put extra protection on him, and Gilbert will make certain the ball comes out fast. That was an intentional late hit by that Cal player. I thought Cal showed signs of very unsportsmanlike play, and it surprised me.
