Nothing discipline wise. Jackson is medically retiring. Benson is graduating and giving up football. Good news though, making room. Wish both guys the best.

Good luck to those young men. It's a shame the Cedar Hill boys didn't work out as I had high hopes for Benson and Humphrey. Jackson would have been better served moving back to DB but that foot injury was his undoing.

Couple notes from Spring practice so far.

1- Sheroid Evans wasn't wearing a brace, and looks to be healthy coming off an ACL injury.

2- David Ash was slinging the rock on the field today.

3- Hammad was getting first team reps today on the offensive line.

1-Darius James is in much better shape, down to 311 pounds.

2-Multiple people think Gray looks pretty healthy. Don't think he practiced, but based on reports he must have been jogging/running around.

Player I'm interested to see is Overstreet. He has big play written all over him. I think Strong can do wonders with a player like Overstreet.

Where is the Sports Info Dept.?

IT reported Moss and Scott gone, Jackson med hardship gone and Benson doghouse probable gone several weeks ago. It seems like the start of Spring practice would be a good time for the SID to report the players who are no longer on the team.

My heart bleeds for Chippy having to miss a free trip to the Masters because mean ole Strong moved Texas spring training back to avoid a Spring Break letdown that Mack never considered. Tough love Chippy, look forward to sharing your whine tomorrow morning on the radio.
