Bruce Feldman

Says no truth to the Herman rumors.

Hope I am wrong but I think this is all for show to make it look like they tried to upgrade OC.

I will be shocked if it is anyone but Watson.

I still don't think it's Watson. Strong would be stretching pretty far saying that he wants the OC to have UT and Texas ties and then going after Watson. Being an assistant at Nebraska should not count.

It's not Watson, cuz I'm using reverse psychology and saying it is Watson. I haven't been right too many times lately. Just ask my wife.

Isn't Morris's buyout somewhere in the multi million range? Not to mention his current salary of 1.3 or so.

Id be shocked if Morris left Clemson for anything other than a head coach position.

If it was Watson it would have been done already. And strong is not putting on some fake search. Ridiculous

Watson also doesn't fit the criteria of having Texas ties.

Strong said today he was looking at 2-3 different guys.

Since y'all are just guessing, why not be optimistic and not pessimistic (unless you want Watson - jk)? It's all going to play out soon enough. Waiting on gloom and doom isn't a good way to spend your energy. With that said, since no one on this thread has a clue (and neither do I, just a fan) what is going to happen w/ OC, I'll say Shanahan. Texas ties, coming home to his school, friends w/ Chris Simms (who likes Strong), good experience, and out of work for now. Maybe he's had enough of the pros, although I saw that Miami might be interested in him. I'll also say Watson as QB coach, or whatever, but not in a play calling role. Hook 'em!

Chip is hearing multiple names which fits strongs own words.
Can you say who they are for us non-OBer's?

And Bruce isn't right or wrong at this time, there just isn't enough to make that distinction. I'm leaning to say he's wrong though.
