Briles will end up at LSU

Well , after a day spent with a whole bunch of fed up cajuns I have come to the conclusion that the fans and big money alums will be willing to sell their soul to the vodoo queen Marie Laveau to get Art Briles to LSU. They are so desperate to beat Alabama and Nick Saban they will not care about what happened at Baylor.  I am just blowing smoke as I have no facts to back any of this up other than everyone of the cajuns I spent the day with wants the Mad Hatter fired yesterday and they all said they would take Art Briles in a second.

I think it will be hard for Briles to Recruit at his previous level of success. He won't be welcome in many living rooms. I think that is why he has been around Pro teams lately.

Now.....Herman to LSU can be something serious.

LSU were to land Briles that could be scary. I agree that he might have a time getting into living rooms if he cannot change the narrative.

I watched as he met the press at Cowboy camp this year in California. I think he really believed that he could show remorse and he would be forgiven by the public. I am just speculating too as I am not in his head but man it was tone deaf to me.

Herman, that is another story. If you could draw a circle around one of the most talent rich recruiting areas in the country would you leave?

I've heard rumblings about Briles and LSU as well. I was surprised that it was so evolved already, seems to be a popular thought in those circles.

Briles wouldn't need to be a great recruiter at LSU. The studs in Louisiana seem to just gravitate there anyway except for one or two that go to Bama each year.

So talent isn't an issue. The scary thought, IMO, is his system combined with that talent. It would be one of the best combinations CFB has ever seen. . . . but history tends to repeat itself when it gets ignored. Briles would quicker be in trouble in Baton Rouge than he was in Waco.

All I can actually state that is factual is that after this weekend loss to Wisconsin and the same old tired offensive scheme the fan base of LSU are done with Les Miles it seems and for many Briles would be a complete 180.

Tom Herman would be the top target for LSU, then Lane Kiffin would be second.  Briles would have to survive those two courtships before getting his opportunity.

Respect is relative. Plus, the heat is ON in Baton Rouge. Given everything that happened this summer and the hometown team lays a big egg on national TV, it's hard to picture a scenario where Les Miles is the coach in 2017. 

Now, Les Miles will get another big job. He won't be unemployed for very long. I could see him go back to Big 10 land and coach Purdue or Colorado. Fact is, Les Miles never struck while the iron was hot and now he's not the hot commodity he was 8 years ago.

Briles at LSU should be very frightening for SEC West teams, especially aggie.

I'd love to see it. Don't forget - we've got LSU on the schedule in 2019 & 2020
