Here's what I know as a fact concerning Brandon Jones.

Come National Signing Day, he will be a Longhorn. Unless he signs with someone else. Level 1.

2. Perhaps you're just easily disappointed? People share what they're told. I am not "starved" for attention nor do I consider myself an insider. I help sponsor this site, I publish a column monthly, my mug gets published many different places. I don't need more attention than I already have.

Considering what I've just said, it diverts the question back to you. Why get your feelings hurt when a kid changes his mind so much that you feel compelled to blame those who shared information with you? No one put a gun to your head and made you believe anything.

Lorenzo Joe. MB was all over Twitter claiming that Lorenzo was going to de-commit from Texas and leave for USC. Lorenzo was pissed about it and even called him out for it. We all know (now) that Lorenzo was 100% Texas and has been a positive vocal piece/recruiter for us. MB caught a lot of heat for that and it became anti Texas fodder for quite a few opposing fan bases.

That said, I like MB. I think it all got out of hand. But glass houses....

Actually the way it happened someone asked me of potential players could decommit and I mentioned Joe. The key word is I gave opinion not inside info. So yeah he ending up signing with Texas but again I gave my opinion. Now did I get hammered for that opinion yes I did but it was never some inside info it was all my opinion and if someone ask me tomorrow to give my opinion I will give it. Also I never did pass off my opinion as fact it was well known it was opinion that is the difference. Many post info/opinion as if it is fact.

I'm with MB, a kid like that takes all 5 visits and makes a decision date. It would be a huge shock but just to make sure I asked around and no one could confirm anything except the Texas staff likes where they are in the recruitment
