Texas offensive linemen Brandon Hodges announces on Twitter he is leaving the program and will be a graduate transfer.

Is he actually a graduate transfer as the caption above says, or does he sit a year?

I thought he sat out the spring to deal with academic issues...?  So, when did he graduate?  If he was having grade / academic problems, how is he going to get into a graduate program?   Ooops, I forgot he is a football player and not a regular student...

Makes room for another 2018 recruit... All about alignment... He was not a staff favorite..

Local news last night showed a list of all the lineman still on campus. Based on that list, I'd say we're OK.

With all these players leaving this year, maybe Strong wasn't holding the players as accountable liked we all believed he was?

Don't think the players leaving have anything to do with Strong. Standard attrition with a new coaching staff rolling in.

It just seems the ones we have lost are "out of shape", "lazy", "not willing to work hard, etc. If that is true, wasn't Strong and company supposed to be correcting that "self entitlement" attitude from the Coach Brown days? I'm not a Strong hater at all, just wondering out loud.

Players like that exist in every program regardless of the coach or staff. There will always be some bad apples and some guys that need a kick in the ass to do right and stay in shape.
