BOWL GAME: Texas vs Michigan

The Line on the game has moved to -8.5. Must be because of the Michigan opt outs.

TE Endries has decided to play the game then make a decision
DB Derek Williams is said to be reconsidering coming back. Apparently, there were issues between him and Akina
DB Wardell Mack is supposedly practicing with the team
RB Tre Wisner: supposedly, his agent was asking $1mil and the portal was a mutual "business decision" by both sides.
OL Trevor Goosby: according to 247, "He's expected back at this point. He did recently get a top 10 overall mock draft grade from CBS but even with that I believe he's set on coming back." The odd thing is I couldnt find his name on the official team roster.

As posted above, it's being reported that RB Tre Wisner his going to enter the portal. HUGE running back room hit. He's the forth RB to enter the portal.

That leaves Clark, Simon, Page and new to the position Michael Terry in the RB room.
 
I am to the point that we should have not even decided to go to a bowl (except for practice time). Hell, the players don't even take the bowls seriously so why should the fans? The bowls are just irrelevant now and I don't want to end the season on a loss . This team and others will just be a shell of themselves. Why bother anymore to go?

A win gets us to 10 wins for the season, and finishes the "season" on a high note.

I would hope they get the team as prepared as possible.

In reality, that's what this game is, a glorified scrimmage. I stated this a week or so back and I see less and less fans traveling for these.

The reason I dont follow the NFL anymore has a LOT to do with free agency and salaries. It is 100% entertainment for me and it's not worth my time or money to follow players that get millions of dollars and still whine. And, then you dont even know if they'll be around the next year. It just wasnt worth my investment in time and emotional fandom.

IMO, the same thing is happening in CFB as it turns into a semi pro league with huge salaries and free agency. I'm simply not going to invest in a lot of time & effort any more; it just isnt worth it.

Michigan hires Kyle Whittingham as head football coach.

I dont think it will impact the Citrus bowl but Good Hire by Michigan.

It is hard for me to wish Wisner well. He is a starter and is getting paid. Bye to him.

Michigan is in worse shape than we are.
 


with regards to players, there's nothing new here. However, I havent listed coaches because at this point I dont think "coaches" are that dynamic for one game at the end of the season. A healthy head coach organizational scheme should have systems on automatic at the end of the season. The assistants know what the process and expectation is by this time of the season

Even Michigan being without their Head Coach; it's not like they havent done that this season already. Sherrone Moore was suspended from participating in two games for recruiting violations.
