Blake Bell was working at TE during off-season 7 on 7 drills today

I think the coaches realized that Bell can't throw.

He's a pretty bad QB. Even when he was rushing for TD's he always looked plodding to me. Credit to the OL, I guess.

Yep, he's not even a good running QB. Has zero speed. He can get you 2 or 3 yards with his size, but that's about it.

found the right place for Bell if he will be good enough to play the position. Looks slow.

Smart move by the kid if he wants to earn a paycheck playing the game.

Oh, check that, if he wants to earn a bigger paycheck in the NFL than he's getting now.

Oh, wait, check that again. If he wants to have an opportunity at a BIGGER paycheck than he's getting now.

Oh Hell, not even that works, prolly.

Hope he likes pain, because his big slow moving backside is going to take some serious shots.

You don't think any defensive Big 12 players will be looking foward to the day that they can tag him since he isnt a qb, anymore, do you?

I want to give you a 'like', no matter your posts, whether I disagree, or not. Any fan with that signature above the van can't be entirely wrong, ever. I had one in '61, at three. He was red and white (Odessa Broncos), named by Dad as 'Flamethower', and the trips we made were epic beyond the imagination.

Funny what things get stuck away till you get a reminder.

Thanks, amigo.

He may have a better chance at that position, you called it TE? correct? Sorry not used to the exotic positions other schools use.

TE? Is that an offensive position? As a Texas fan, I know not of what you speak.
David Thomas, J. Finely, Blaine Irby.

I guess if it's more than 5 years ago, it's before posters here were watching football.

Trevor Knight beats us if he started last season.
Complete nonsense. Knight was a below average QB in every game he played last year before Alabama. He led OU to 16 points against WVU at Norman on 10-20-2 for 119 yards in his last start before the UT game. He stunk it up 3-7-0 for 28 yards in his last regular season start against OSU and Bell had to come in to save the game. Bell had better regular season stats in every category except rushing.
