What did everyone think of episode 1?

Its a show about pirates. It has all of that but it's very well done. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

The problem I had with it is, where's the Hero? Golly, as show filled with unlikable characters?
The Sopranos were all narcissistic homicidal maniacs, but you.... liked them!

I love Pirate stories ( don't read into that) so ill give the second episode a try.
