Jay Bilas released his first Bilas Index of the season that allegedly looks at the best 68 teams in college basketball. Guess who he left out? That's right...the Horns. Just wanted to point out a couple issues with this moronic endeavor:
(1) We took Bilas' No. 1 and 9 teams to OT;
(2) Butler, a team we beat, is No. 59;
(3) We're No. 25 on kenpom.com and the first team in kenpom's ranking not to make Bilas' index. The next team not to make Bilas' index is Ole Miss, which No. 65 on kenpom. So, Nos. 1-24 and 26-64 on kenpom.com made the Bilas Index, with Texas being the lone team left out.
Previously, I never thought too much of Bilas. This just reinforces it.
