Big win for Texas softball

[utisdabomb12]

They beat UGA today (ranked 7/8 in a lot of polls). Texas had a FR pitcher on the mound today, a very young and talented team. A year or two away, but talented.

They are playing in a very tough tournament this weekend so I didn't expect them to win many games to be honest.

Thanks bomb, I really enjoy watching softball.

It was 5-0 for those that missed it on the Ticker.

Another big game tonight at 10:00 CST vs No. 12 UCLA.

Guess our softball team is $ec ready.

Flew on a plane with Connie and the team a couple of years ago. Friendly group of ladies.

Texas beat UCLA last night, impressive start to a very tough tournament.

After this weekend Texas will have played Oregon (number 2 in most polls), Stanford (24/25 in most polls), Arizona State (18/19 in most polls), Georgia (7/8 in most polls), UCLA (12 in most polls), Missouri (18 in most polls), ND (24 in most polls).

Texas sure started off the season with a bang in terms of scheduling.

Tougher day for the ladies today....two one run losses.

8-7 to Fresno State

4-3 to Missouri

About what I expected with a team this young especially on the mound. I honestly thought we might go 1-4 at this tournament. Get a win tomorrow, and a 3-2 record with 3 wins over ranked teams would be pretty good. There will be ups and downs with this team because of how young they are.
