We are sitting pretty right now at #4. Stanford and Long Beach State will give us an opportunity to pick up 2 more decent RPI type wins in nonconference.

If we can finish 12-1 in nonconference and go 13-5 in the Big 12 we will be looking at a #2 seed with the potential to be a #1 seed dependent on how we finish in the Big 12 conference. The Big 12 conference has so many nice RPI wins available that a 13-5 record will do wonders for us in terms of the tournament resume.

Inside your 13-5 are you projecting the Horns drop 1 at home, or go 4-5 on the road?

My guess is the majority of the losses come on the road. It's no easy task to win at OU, Kansas, Iowa State, Kansas State and West Virginia. I think we probably drop one at home though. The big 12 is simply too deep and tough to go 18-0, 17-1, 16-2, or 15-3 IMO. I expect a bloodbath with a lot of similar records towards the end of big 12 play. Heck, several analysts consider Texas/Kansas/Iowa State/OU to be final 4 contenders.
