5* #2 ranked player Julius Randle will make his college choice on March 20th. Down to two. Texas & Kansas.

Landing this kid could put us back where we need to be. 50/50 we get him.

You can rub it in my face if this kid signs with us, and call me a hater if you want. But, I have taken off my burnt orange colored glasses and don't see anyway this kid picks us over KU. Sorry to be a downer, but this just doesn't feel like it is going to turn out in our favor.

Everything I'm hearing is that he's gonna choose Kentucky. Looks like its Kentucky, Kansas and then us.

Who knows but Kentucky is a name that has not come up at all in his recruiting. So I find that interesting.

UK did seem to come in late but they are there for sure.

I found this with another name I hadn't been hearing. This is from a DMN article today:

Frazier and Randle have yet to announce their college commitments. Kyles said her son has scheduled a March 20 announcement, nationally televised from Prestonwood Academy. Last week, he told The News that his finalists are Kentucky, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and North Carolina State.

Just found a little more info:

Per conversation w/ @TXboysbasketbal, Julius Randle is no longer considering Oklahoma and N.C. State. That leaves 4: UK, KU, Texas & UF.

Don't think we can compete for his services. Our only hope is that the kid is in love with being a Longhorn.

If he is looking to be a star amongst stars, he will sign with either of the KUs. If he is looking to become a star on a team, with all of the attention on him, he might choose the good guys.
