Texas loses 81-72. Tried to come back late in the 2nd half but it's hard to win games when you go 8+ mins without scoring. Worst game of the season.

Is it my imagination, or has this ridiculously elongated scoring drought phenomenon been with us going back to the entire Shaka tenure?

No but I was hoping we were going to be done with it. 18-0 run by Baylor during that drought, very fugly.

WVU nearly beat Kansas today but couldn't score the potential game winner on the last possession. Would have been huge for our Big 12 title chances.

Unless Tech beats Kansas, we need to win out to at best tie Kansas record. Then it got to tiebreaks that I believe still need some more data to determine how it plays out.

Part of that is we don't know when to stop shooting. Today Marcus Carr wasted 5-6 trips down the floor because one way or another he was determined to make a shot. The whole team suffered because of it and Baylor built a lead.

We have too many agendas going on, not playing like a team.

After today's performance, I'm fairly sure we'll lose the next two.

Not certain of the agendas, but this team has flaws at times of playing like individuals instead of as a team. But we have bounced back after every loss to play better or at least good enough to win. Maybe we do lose the last 2 regular season games, but we haven't lost 2 games in a roll this year either.  So, hoping to win out is best case and lose out is worst case.

I really don't think Coach Terry is the long term answer at Head Coach.  I just don't know who we should hire. Don't want Calipari. Seems to constantly under perform and only recruit prima donnas. A lot of meh candidates out there.

If it were up to me, our next HC would be the guy at K-State. What he's done there is nothing short of incredible.

I think hiring Calipari would be a slightly less mistake than if we would have hired Urban Meyers.  I would lean towards a younger coach.

Rodney Terry is not the answer. This team needs motivation from the start of any game. They have fallen behind in far too many games. I heard Terry say that there was no reason to get excited or anticipate having a must win mentality for the last two games. For me this eliminates him from contention. The regular season crown is paramount. The higher your seed, the easier your path.

Oats can't be the HC at Texas. Not after you fired Beard for conduct unbecoming. Oats is allowing an individual who was involved in a murder, to one extent or another, to play without repercussion. Those optics are as bad as the Beard situation.

the problem with that is, when the gun was requested and he took it to him, there was no murder or murderer. That happened later.

Legally, I don't think there's anything they can do. If they kick the kid off the team, he files a lawsuit.

He knew there was a fight going on. It happened right after he got there. He was parked in front of the car the girl was shot in and another player was parked behind her so she couldn’t leave.

Someone help me out with the issues going on with the bama team. 2 players kicked off yet the star player may or maynot have had knowledge of what these other 2 players intent to kill a lady?  What I've seen and read the coach at bama seems to have a Dave Bliss mindset on the issue(s).

So, we need to win out to get a tied for the regular season conference title and be at least #2 in the conference tournament. Otherwise,  we might be 3rd in the conference tournament.  Let's see how we play against TCU on Wednesday night.

Terry needs to be evaluated after completion of the season. Got to give the guy a chance. It doesn’t look good right now, but really it will boil down to how far we go in the tournament.

I hope we go on a tear. He seems like a good guy. We will know pretty quick

Well we lost 2 in a row 1st time this year.  This team has had 1 good 1st half this year I think. Another bad start with bad turnovers, bad shot selecting, no rebounding effort on either end of the court, and coach Terry seem unaffected to change much up other than playing Disu and Bishop a few minutes together.

2nd half wasn't much better until the last 12 minutes. Terry did get a "T" over a non call.  The final was 75-73.

Disu seems confused out there at times on by ends of the court. Guess je thinks he can block any shot, but usually gets called for a foul instead. Offensively he can score, but he also allows guards and smaller forwards to get steals from him due to him bringing the ball down and trying to dribble the ball.
