We can't hit the ocean from the beach starting the 2nd half. Luckily Iowa St is having the same issue except for hitting 1 bucket.

Texas hitting their shots and playing tough D, good combo.

We shoot around 50%, especially 50% from 3, and I don't think we can be beat. Typically we don't shoot this well and the games are tight but when we knock down the shots we are dang good.

I don't see this team running the table. For one, it's a gauntlet and two, I don't think this team is good enough. They play hard and don't quit, but the highly rated players are inconsistent. I think they could go 3-1, but probably 2-2 down the stretch. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

I agree. I'd be quite pleased with 3-1 but 2-2 is likely. 

K-state beat Baylor today so both of them are two games back of Texas and Kansas. That puts us in a good spot to finish in 2nd in the big 12 at worse.

72-54 Texas. Wasn't the prettiest 2nd half but we scored the same number of points as Iowa St did. Thank goodness we were hot during the 1st half.

Agree the 1st half was one of our best 1st halves of the season. The 2nd half felt like the refs were too happy to call fouls.

It was good to see Hunter play one of his better games even with the WTF non call in the 1st half. Also, both Bishop and Morris played better.

Hopefully Baylor will not come out and run us off the court on Saturday afternoon.

Great home win! We played much more inspired defense and Iowa State did not get many good looks. The D on the Baylor guards will be crucial on Saturday. They are going to hit some shots but we have to make them earn it and not give up easy buckets. Next two will be tough. I'm dreaming of a winner take all game at home against Kansas!

Texas down by 2 at the half 27-29. At one point Texas had a 23-11 lead then went over 9 mins without any points.

We lost 81-72. Score doesn't indicate how we played poorly for most of the game. Could still go 2 and 0 in the final week of the regular season and possibly tied for 1st place in conference.

Texas loses 81-72. Tried to come back late in the 2nd half but it's hard to win games when you go 8+ mins without scoring. Worst game of the season.

Part of that is we don't know when to stop shooting. Today Marcus Carr wasted 5-6 trips down the floor because one way or another he was determined to make a shot. The whole team suffered because of it and Baylor built a lead.

We have too many agendas going on, not playing like a team.

After today's performance, I'm fairly sure we'll lose the next two.
