Texas had a very small chance of beating Baylor today so I wouldn't let this game bother you too much.

Give Baylor credit, they were hot from the floor tonight hitting 50% of their shots while holding Texas to 32.8%. The 12-0 run in the 1st half hurt. FTs favored Baylor 22-27 to 17-23. Those were the keys of the game.

Texas has 6 regular season games left, 3 @ home, 3 on the road. Win all the home games and hope to take a game on the road. Finish these games 4-2 and that would be good. Anything better would be great.

OU's next and they beat Tech recently and almost beat KU today.

Then we get Tech. This stretch is a tough one.

I'm penciling any game against bailor in football, mens and womens basketball , to a lessor extent softball and volleyball ( they have just about caught us in volleyball) as losses. Talk about David being Goliath's daddy. It's incredible how most of the basketball losses ( both sexes) are blowouts. Oh well , there's still swimming and diving.

Is Beard still going to say we're a final 4 team?

I see a 3-3 finish at best and a tournament bubble team.

The Baylor thing is uncanny, I agree. That can and should change.

In the end, its just another old SWC team who has Texas on the schedule and that means everything to them.

I would expect nothing less than everyone's best shot from here to the time we leave the conference.

Hoping all the new coaches drum that in the head of every player in every sport and we can overcome that.

Not a huge surprise losing at Baylor. The only surprising aspect was getting blown out.

I think we finish 3-3, which is acceptable considering the schedule. We do that, and we're in.

Good win tonight at OU. Almost let it slip away.

They missed the fouls and big body from Mitchell.  Hopefully they come out with the high energy on Saturday for Tech as they did for Kansas and Tennessee.

I had a birthday celebration to attend and didn't get to watch. I'll try to catch the replay.

If we can withstand the first 7-8 minutes with Tech, we have a shot.

The students need to give tech the same treatment that the Horns got in lubbock

A road win in the Big XII is always good, no matter how close the score. A couple of things surprised me, the crowd looked pretty thin on TV and at one point you could hear the Texas fans yelling defense over the home crowd. Good to see our fans showing up and repping!

Super frustrating play from our guys but glad they pulled out the win. That win moved us from "Work to Do" to a "Lock" on ESPN's Bubble Watch.

The biggest thing for me last night was Askew getting meaningful minutes, especially at the end. Sorry to sound like a broken record, but he's the closest thing we have to a true PG. His play has definitely improved, and I think Beard is starting to trust him more.

Everyone keeps one eye peeled on what Texas is doing.  That’s why you can be watching two teams play and there will always be someone doing the down Horns sign.  You’ve got to embrace the hate……..which I do and love.
I’ll be there Saturday.  Hope we come out hot. ????

Super frustrating play? Not perfect however I thought that was one of their better road games all year.

He was the #1 PG coming out of HS so I hope you're right about Askew. I've seen so many times where he has driven into the paint and shot the ball when someone else was open under the basket.
