Looks like Texas will be hosting a BIG 5* Visitor on Sat Dec 21 vs Mich St. on a unofficial visit. I will see if anyone can guess :D

The bigger question is WHO is Myles Turner going to be playing for when he makes it to the 40 Acres?

Great info shaunsters. Any planes we should be looking at yet? It's past 4 pm by the way.

Havent heard anything definite yet. As soon as I do, I will let you know. I was told start looking late afternoon today, could be tonight, could be tomorrow but no later than tomorrow.

Hopefully we continue to play smart basketball. If not MSU will show us how. I love the way they play.

Barnes could be buying himself some more time; too bad for him his new boss has such a hoops background.

I like Barnes, just not as our coach anymore. I love that Patterson is a huge BB fan and hope he can deliver a coach of the equivalent of a NS (fingers-crossed).

Had only seen highlights of Turner until last week when he played Justin Jackson's team on the U. He was fantastic. Needs to play a tad harder, but was still a block away from a 30-15-10 game. And he's an unbelievable shooter. Like, absolutely butter. The ball barely touches the net. Fantastic athlete too. Don't see that combination in many bigs. Like a taller Kenny Kadji.

I have LHN and have been watching the team.

They are much more competitive and interesting that I anticipated.

I love Taylor at the point and our length has been causing teams problems too.

Tough games on tap and then conference, but if they keep improving, they will have a shot at 4th or 5th best in conference.

We could really use another big, like say Kevin Thomas. Could also use the Clarkson kid that Tulsa refused to let come here.

Having just 4 guys taller than 6'3" is going to come back to bite us in a game.

Should I tell the story how we lost Kevin Thomas!

Academics, were a slight concern...

Kevin came and visited for a home game and was extremely turned off by the crowd. Or should I say lack of a crowd. From some people close to him, the silence and lack of enthusiasm at Erwin Center lost him. If he would have never came in and visited he would have been a Horn. He almost didn't even come in for that official.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. I'm sure we've lost our share of recruits with that awful atmosphere. Saw a video of Julius Randle accidentally falling asleep during a game. THAT is embarrassing. For us...not him.

It will be a great day when we raze the Erwin Center and build something more conducive to a smaller crowd. Hell I'd rather play the game in Gregory Gym. At least it's on campus and a very closed atmosphere.
