Annual event will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 at UFCU Disch-Falk Field
Texas Baseball hosts its annual Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Feb. 6 before the Annual Alumni Game, scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
Gates open at 11 a.m. as the 2016 players and coaches sign autographs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Season schedule posters and panoramic photographs of UFCU Disch-Falk Field are available for autographs (while supplies last). Due to NCAA compliance issues, outside items may not be brought in for autographs. Any item provided by Texas Athletics is for personal use only and is not intended for sale.
Rain or shine, the Longhorns will hold their team autograph session. Stay tuned to TexasSports.com and @Texas_Baseball on Twitter for any updates due to inclement weather.
Admission and parking in lots 103, 104 and 113 for Saturday's game is free.
Children wishing to play catch in the outfield are able to do so from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fans are asked to bring their own baseball gloves and balls.
The Annual Alumni Game will be televised by the Longhorn Network beginning at 3:30 p.m. LHN’s Keith Moreland will provide play-by-play and Greg Swindell will be the color analyst.
Texas opens the 2016 regular season at home on Friday, Feb. 19 against UNLV, the first of three games that weekend.
