Austin Traffic

Sucks. I watch my brother play some GTA 5 and it really looks like Austin right before rush hour on a day some drizzle fell.

I just dont understand how they managed to NOT put a loop around this city like they did in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth to an extent, and San Antonio.

Not a fan of toll roads either.

I heard that 360 was originally planned as a freeway with no traffic lights, like Mopac. Might have helped.

Traffic is definitely one of the few things I don't miss about ATX!

Yes.....and now they want to do it again but TOLL the thing. Fortunately, there is no funding to do so.

Also read the current toll system should default on its loans by June AND the process to make it a real freeway would begin....
