China has slammed a US probe into the origins of the coronavirus, saying Washington is not interested "to find out the truth, it does not want any scientific research...

Slightly over a month before the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the coronavirus a pandemic, several Indian scientists and experts reportedly flagged circumstantial evidence that suggested the virus had leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV).
On 31 January 2020, a team of biologists from the Kusuma School of Biological Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi released a 22-page research paper on the bioRxiv online platform that suggested an "uncanny similarity" between aspects of SARS-CoV-2 and HIV.
What does this have to do with baseball?

Arkansas lost to Nebraska. They play again tomorrow.

USF and Southern Miss. complete their game tomorrow to see who plays us

This tournament seems like it has had a number of upsets.

Okay, I think our bats are working again. lol
SHA, don’t know if you were able to watch, but Fairfield was basically out of pitchers. They struggled to get it across the plate.

Home plate umpire had to enlarge his strike zone for Fairfield.  They were undermanned, and came from the losers bracket  Tough sledding.

It wasn’t pretty.

Yes he did. One pitch in particular was almost 1/2 foot outside the strike zone. Guess he was tired, hungry and wanted to go home.

Facing facts, had he not, that game would have never been over.

As it was, those Fairfield pitchers were struggling as badly as I have ever seen. How many times was Cam hit, 3 times?  It looked like he was really annoyed. He did not want to Walk, or HBP, he wanted to hit the ball, but no one could deliver. Hodo was hit at least twice.

At one point, I had the thought that our guys had a lot of courage just to stand in the box. Good thing they are muscled up!

Hook ‘em!

That’s the benefit of not being from Connecticut. You can have a good nonconference schedule and get those guys innings. Felt bad for them.

But perfect regional for Texas. No one was overworked. Rotation setting up well for next weekend. Want to see another dominant weekend!
