Texas needs to make Hollingsworth the 3rd starter. There's enough arms in the pen with Curtiss, Duke, Cooper, and Culbreth. I don't mind using Hollingsworth in relief in the second game if we have a chance to close it out. I do not trust Schiraldi to get us a win as a game three starter.

14-9 in conference

They are coming in pretty hot - their last 4 series were all on the road

Most recent, beating LSU in Baton Rogue 2 in a row to win that regional

This is a good example of the advantages of Austin being the largest city in the nation without a pro sports franchise to share its market with.

More U of H fans will travel to Austin than UT fans would travel to Houston. Austin has far more UT baseball fans than does Houston. The best atmosphere would be holding the games in Austin.

I still say Patterson should do all he can to push for a world class orthopedics and sports medicine clinic as part of the new med school. Austin should be a mecca for elite Olympic and college athletes who need to rehab and train. The interaction between athletes of various disciplines training and rehabbing in Austin would fit well in the Austin culture and help elevate the position of UT in the collegiate and Olympic athletics.

Also, the X Games start in Austin this weekend. Should be a fun weekend for U of H fans.

I tend to agree with this. Shiraldi is just too inconsistent, and Hollingsworth earned it.

The MIGHTY SEC placed a record 10 teams into the 2014 NCAA Tourney.

8 teams got knocked out in the regionals.  Is that also a record?  I wonder if ESPiN is keeping track?
