No Case McCoy starting at QB. Our odds of winning just skyrocketed 350%.

Now I am really pissed at Ash starting..

This:

“If David doesn’t play this week, we will look at Tyrone,” Texas coach Mack Brown said.

In a related story..McCoy will watch from the sideline..His speciality..

I put the response of winning with Case at 10 %, so Ash pushed the odds way up to 35 %?

Ash may be "clear" but not ready. We've lived through this shoulder mess before at Texas.

I agree.. Plus no timing with receivers... I feel for mack, every time he turns around, there is a 10 foot wall to hurdle

If we could get the running game going I would feel much better about this team. We have 3 talented kids and seem to underperform every week in the running game. I know our line is having problems but damn.....

You guys keep forgetting that our problem isn't completely with the offense. Until our defense learns to wrap-up the ball carrier, we still have serious problems.

I sorta agree, but the offense scored 66 last year.

Ash was 19-23 for 323 yards and 4 td's..McCoy this season was 24-36 for 196 and 1 td.

Horns rushed for over 350 yards last year and barely over a 100 this year.

Horns had nearly 700 total yards last year as opposed to a bit over 300 this year.

Ole Miss didn't do much different

Last season they scored 31. This season 44.

They only had 50 more yards this season than last.

Here is the amazing part. Last season they averaged 6.2 yards a play..This season the exact same 6.2

The difference is the Texas offense was shut out in the second half. If they score like they did the first half, they win the game.

It may not be fair, but the offenses are way ahead of the defenses in today's NCAA. Not at Texas, where 3 and outs are common place. The defense needs the offense to keep the ball and score. It will cause less time for the opposing teams offense and less points.

Not defending the defense but the pressure is more on the offense. They have the weapons to do better. Not sure the defense does?

Looking at this Baylor team today I am afraid we better learn to get an offense quick if we want to be in ball games after the first quarter.

Art Briles knows how to recruit and coach up QB's. He might be the most underrated HC in football.

Baylor scares the hell out of me.

OU scores 34 the whole game and Baylor scores 35 in the first quarter.
