Good good stuff

Hitting or lack there of kept us from winning the national championship. if our hitting coach can't get these guys hitting better we may not get back to Omaha. We got really lucky last year drawing the Rice Regional, and then UH upset LSU. We can't expect to get that lucky again. We will have to be much better this season to get back to Omaha. I guess I shouldn't say "hitting". I should say take better "at bats". Making a pitcher throw pitches to get his count up, taking walks, and laying down a crucial bunt were things we didn't do well enough to win a title. If we can take good at bats this year and get timely hitting, I like our chances to get number 7.

I know it's heresy around these parts, but as much as I love college football, my first love is Texas Longhorns baseball, mostly for sentimental reasons. I'm excited about this season.

I agree no heresy here. I would rather be at the Disch than anywhere else.
