After all of the upsets yesterday, this poll is all jumbled up.

Oddities:
  • How does 3-loss USC go from UR all the way up to 15 with a W over Washington?
  • Ohio St goes from 6 to 2
  • Louisville goes from 5 to 3
  • Michigan and Clemson both drop only 2 spots
  • Washington drops 3 spots
  • aggy drops from 10 to 23 after a loss
  • Auburn drops from 8 to 18 after a loss
  • Troy is ranked for the first time in school history.

What weird things do you see?

I don't have a clue who Troy is or who they have played but I will go on record as saying that we would kill Troy.

Troy is a school in Alabama (south Alabama I believe). Their only loss this year was at Clemson, 30-24.

After all of the upsets yesterday, this poll is all jumbled up.

Oddities:
  • How does 3-loss USC go from UR all the way up to 15 with a W over Washington?
  • USC is very hot right now. AP likes their win streak, the win at undefeated's home stadium. USC is playing good ball right now. Guess who we play next year?
  •
  • Ohio St goes from 6 to 2
  • Could have been three, but AP thinks OSU's wins are more impressive than L'ville's.
  • Louisville goes from 5 to 3
  • See previous
  • Michigan and Clemson both drop only 2 spots
  • You have a seriously valid point here. Michigan lost to an unranked team. It also cast into doubt whether or not they're the same team on the road as they are at home. Michigan should have fallen to 7-9 instead. But Harbaugh love is firmly entrenched in the media it seems. Clemson seems to be married to the media's expectations and its almost as if the media is trying to help them meet those expectations. Should have fallen farther, IMO
  •
  • Washington drops 3 spots
  • Unfair and biased. Of the trio of top teams who lost, Washington lost to the best team, USC.
  • aggy drops from 10 to 23 after a loss
  • Third consecutive loss for the Ags? Does this look familiar to you? Same song, third or fourth verse? lol The media has learned Aggy.
  •
  • Auburn drops from 8 to 18 after a loss
  • Auburn looked awful against Georgia. Awful. At least we have an offense. Auburn lost a tailback and suddenly couldn't do a thing in a Malzahn offense. Ugly losses leave an impression.
  •
  • Troy is ranked for the first time in school history.
  • IMO, Troy is a very good team. Good enough to be in our top 25? Probably. But that speaks to a lack of depth in this year's season among top 5 conference schools. Penn State in the top 10? Are you kidding me? They're okay, have a nice win on their record, but top 10? I don't think so.
