If a new coach comes in I would expect him to evaluate the current commits and see how they fit into his plans.

I think Saban only needs a few weeks to improve this class in a big way.

My question for you McPhaul is would Saban look at Trickett as OC and bring in Brewster to shore up the recruiting in Texas.

Also, I have to pass on a story about Duane Akina, he being a great coach and a great person.

My son was in the MBTF camp two summers ago. Akina was throwing bombs to the receiver groups.

My son went full vertical to haul in a pass, I mean he laid out for it. And caught it!

Coach Akina threw his hands up and did the full Nestea plunge back onto the grass in celebration.

My son was thrilled that this big time coach celebrated and congratulated him (my then 11yo son) for making such a great play.

Coack Akina is the real deal!

I'm not hearing much about who would be on Sabans staff? I'm sure he has an idea but, I would not think anything is definite.

Why haven't rumors come out of Tuscaloosa? I read some Tidefans stuff and nobody seems to think Saban is leaving. Surely they would have insiders all over a story like this. It just seems like their plugged-in people would be itching to break a story like this - and to follow that up with their own coaching targets??
