The vaccine is about 95% effective. That means about 5% of people who receive it can still catch Covid. But rarely do they have a severe illness. Well over 95% of current deaths are people who were unvaccinated.

No vaccine has ever been better than 95%. We wiped out polio and smallpox with a vaccine that was probably not quite as effective.

98% or so of the nations physicians have had the vaccination. That should tell you something. If you haven’t had it, get it.

You're right. And what's the point of getting vaccinated if you still have to wear a mask just like the unvaccinated? If you can still get the virus? If you can still pass it to others?

What is the difference here?

Lots of people are not capable of getting the vaccine due to the risk of side effects that a current condition would be made worse.

Trying to mandate something that still does not have FDA approval is pretty insane.

I got covid back in November. I took the vaccine later. I'm not the least bit worried about the covid anymore. I don't have much sympathy for those who elect to not get vaccinated unless the have a medical condition that prohibits it.

I know you're a doctor and all, but the statistics don't lie.

The Phizer vaccine, after only 7 months, is only 43% effective. Thats laughable.

I don’t know where you’re getting those statistics but they’re very inaccurate.

eventually the immune response will begin to drop and we will need boosters. But Pfizer is still 90 to 93%. If you have a reputable journal article you can send me I’d be happy to read it.
