What happened to sports being a way to unwind and forget about your worries and just being happy to be alive and watching athletes playing a child’s game at a high level? Sports used to be an excuse to spend time with your family and having fun rooting for your team.
Now it’s become a platform to remind me what a terrible country the US is, how rotten our police are, and what a terrible racist I am just for being white. Not going to waste my time getting preached to on values I do not support and frankly condemn. Especially by rich athletes that benefit from the excesses created by capitalism that allows them to profit from their athleticism.
Remember, this is the same prosecutor that dropped all charges against looters stealing from, and vandalizing business; but spending large amounts of time and money to prosecute a person for using a company car and apartment for private use.
Yeah, nothing political here.

This isn't the first prosecution/legislation/etc that's been perceived as political. In any case, if there is a crime and documents exist then it should be prosecuted and those who benefited should face the consequences.
Regarding looters and other criminals, they should be prosecuted and face consequences as well. So should ALL the insurrectionists that stormed the Capitol; especially those that didn't back the Blue, i.e. beat them, used a taser on them, bear spray, bats, flag poles, desecrated the Capitol, etc.

sha'carri richardson- one thing about Sha’Carri is she owned up to it and didn’t make a bunch of BS excuses. I REALLY respect that. I’m not getting into whether the rule was fair or not fair but it’s the rule. 99 out of 100 athletes would blame someone else or lie and say they didn’t do it or a million other excuses. She didn’t. She said I’m human and please don’t judge me for this. She is a free spirit and I like her. A very high level talent. I don’t know how it’s going to play out but I hope she gets to compete.

Apparently the natural movement of the axis that alarmed scientists in the 80's due to glacier melt has now reversed itself and doubled in speed. The culprits? The depletion of underground aquafers in India, https://www.tribuneindia.com/news/archive/features/shrinking-india-is-pushing-the-north-pole-246772 and the amount of concrete poured by china the last 21 years is more than the USA poured in the 20th century.
