Anyone sick of the media and it's onslaught of the public to mainstream gays, lesbians, lbgrstuvwy's, etc? The point of the post is that cornyn doesn't have his facts straight or he is outright lying, which is typical for the GQP, i.e. "the virus will just disappear".  LOL  Hopefully, you didn't miss that.  If you did, that explains a lot.

In any case, attack problems at the root.  She addressed the root cause of the migrant issue when she visited Guatemala.  That's called logic.  The Mexico/US border is just a symptom of the problem, McAllen, Weslaco, El Paso all a symptom.  When you build a wall at the border, you address a symptom not the root cause.

She accomplished nothing while in Guatemala.  
 

Believe it or not, we do agree the ultimate answer is for natives of countries to have opportunity at home and not see the need to immigrate to the US.  
 

Having open borders is not a symptom, it is a root cause as well.  A symptom of open borders is the uncontrolled illegal immigration into our country..  She needs to go to ground zero and truly see what the horrible policies of the Biden Administration are causing on innocent children and their families.

Yes, we do agree on that.  If their home countries provided opportunities, addressed poverty, corruption, organized crime, then the migrants might consider staying home.  This was part of VP Harris's agenda.  It doesn't get done in one meeting.  It's a long process.  But it has to start somewhere.  The US has these same issues but yet they still come.

You can certainly make an argument regarding the border. I don't agree with the premise nor do I believe building a wall is the solution to controlling migrants from coming over.  See the first paragraph.  Mexico is just as corrupt and the cartels rule just about everything.

Look at what Pelosi is trying to do now.
