All Things Politics Thread

Man.. someone puts (especially black) in their comment. You point it out & you’re the one using the race card??

I mean maybe that person is so dumb they don’t realize who used race first. Actually I can believe that.

We've said this no less than 3 or 4 times already but this is the last warning we're putting out.  Share your views, your passion for politics, your love or disdain for a political candidate....  we don't care if you vote left, right or center.

What we do care about is this board and making sure EVERYONE feels comfortable being here - all of our members, guests and even lurkers.

And what we aren't going to put up with is name calling or personal attacks.  Make your points and rebuttals but stay away from personal attacks on one another.

Hopefully everyone is a member of this board because they are Texas fans, or some version of.  Let's keep that in mind when responding on this thread.

Thank you guys.

So it begins.  Canceled Keystone Pipeline causing job losses.

Next on the hit list is cancelled border wall construction wasting tax dollars on unfinished work there as well.

At least we can look forward to a huge influx of illegal immigrants pouring across the border bringing with them possible disease and foreign terrorism; let alone an increased demand in tax payer supported social services.  At least they will strive to learn English and assimilate into the American culture correct?

Biden’s dark winter here we come.

But hey, that terrible ole Trump sure had some mean tweets didn’t he?

Hahahahahaha I love when white people pick that one black person saying something. And pretend they are the voice of reason. Basically saying when 90% of us vote one way, we are wrong because this 1 person said something you thought was right for us. Again it’s a simple question white Republicans, and there is only two options here. Either you think black people voted for Biden & other Democrats because we believe they have our best interests at heart. Or you think we aren’t smart enough to vote for the candidates. I mean seeing some of the posts on here. I’m sure many of you think option 2 is correct. That’s on you, can’t change a racists mind. But it’s option 1 folks. Trump was terrible for African Americans in his policies and his tone on racial issues. That’s why we voted against him. Helping turn Georgia blue.

When people complained about the terrible policies of the Trump administration, people who supported him yelled elections have consequences. Mind you, Trump didn’t get a majority of the vote. A majority of the the population had to deal with it because a minority of the population felt it was good policies. Biden won with a majority of the population. So until that majority says the polices aren’t working, the Trump morons can STF. Elections have consequences. Y’all lost. Deal with it.

News flash.  President’s aren’t elected by majority vote.  Something called the electoral college does.   This helps prevent New York and California being the only states that elect our president.

News flash. Biden won the electoral college as well. And he won the popular vote. So he had a mandate to govern. So again deal with it.

He got elected President.  He has no mandate. It’s not like he won in a huge landslide.  The Democrats lost house seats and have the Senate majority via a tie breaking vote by the VP.  Nothing about that says mandate.

And yes elections have consequences. This country will have to endure race and gender based policies along with environmental policies that threaten millions of Americans because of the recent presidential election. We are already starting to see this country heading in the wrong direction.

blm won’t be the only group.   All the Democratic Party sees is people as votes, nothing more.  Whatever far fetched lies and beliefs they have to adopt, nor matter how policies hurt the country, if it gets them votes and they get to stay in power, so be it.
