Man... Twitter suspends Trump. Parler gets the boot from Amazon, Apple & Google. Tough times for the maga crowd. Now we hear the constant cries of free speech being violated. People really don’t understand how this works. Two things that work against this stupid argument that kicking Trump off Twitter violated his free speech. The First Amendment gives you the right to free speech. But like all things, there are exceptions. The most common example is you cannot yell fire in a crowded theater. Everyone should know this. So if someone, let’s say, starts a riot. Maybe their is some ramifications for that speech. Secondly, Twitter is a private company that has their own rules and guidelines. They can decide how and when to enforce their rules and punishment. They didn’t suspend him during his actual presidency because they stated he was POTUS and had to have that outlet. He’s a lame duck President. He’s a regular person now. And regular people get suspended from Twitter. Parler hasn’t followed the guidelines those companies have for companies on their platforms. Those companies decided they had enough. That’s on Parler. Parler can still exist. Trump can still speak. No one has had their freedoms taken from them. The world just gets to have less of that loser. The world is much better for it.
Actually, Trump is STILL POTUS until Jan 20th.

May surprise you, but I agree, Twitter is a private company.  They can set their own rules as long as it breaks no laws. Hope Parler can get their servers up and running and give Twitter a run fir their money. And I hope Twitter gets hit with anti-trust inquiries, same for Google and Apple.

I don’t do Twitter and never well.
