You know if you really think about this Eyes of Texas song controversy, Tom Herman isn’t from Texas, didn’t grow up watching Texas so I he could care less about the song but he’s having to “encourage” his players to stay around and thank the fans. Really the same with CDC. He’s just doing it to not alienate the money donors. Very few if any of the coaching staff/support staff could care less. Hardly any of them are from Texas. Same if we hired Urban Meyer. These people are here for the money....not the traditions. And then you got the 18-20 young woke students that would want it gone.......because everything is racist nowadays. 

So honestly the ole diehard fans like myself that came home from the hospital in a Longhorn outfit are fewer and farther between.
