Yep. Civil war was just about slavery. Al those poor southerners that couldn’t afford a slave put their lives and families at risk just so the rich land owners could continue to buy slaves. Had nothing to do with them wanting their state to continue to have rights .
National Guard gets bottles and rocks thrown on them, get pushed or worse, and the kaft says nothing. Violence is fine if it’s because it’s for a cause you believe in.
No King Trump is a big problem because they don’t believe in what his is trying to do for our country. They can anoint their choice for a political candidate with no election from their members and not a single one of protested. Certainly don’t sound democratic to me. More of what a facist dictatorship would do. But again, no protests.
They have no moral ground here. They just keep embarrassing themselves.
