Hey man, I just realized I quoted you on the previous page, but didn't mean to. I was trying to quote a different post from a different poster. Have no idea how I got yours in there instead. lol
Why are you asking a hypothetical question, it sounds like you are trying to justify this horrific act. I’ll give my opinion answer though, no. Your hypothetical question didn’t pin the murder of the child on these 2 cops so they are innocent of that crime. Should we go kill just any Hispanic bartender because my sister was served too much alcohol by a Hispanic bartender and while driving herself home she crashed and died. The piece of crap that shot the cops 2 cops should be sent to jail for life without parole. Why is there no such thing as Blue Lives in your opinion. I’ve seen multiple cops use that term.@DMAC 1st, I haven't forgotten about you. I've been "unplugged" for a while and need to get my thoughts together.
Now I want to preface a question(s) I'm about to ask with this: while there's no such thing as a blue life, what happened to those 2 California cops is disgusting and horrible! I will in NO WAY try to defend that murder or any other random act of violence; wrong is wrong. Now with all of that said, if the coward who shot those cops had a child who was murdered by police, would that change anyone's opinion of the situation? If his actions wasn't backed by BLM?
Netflix actually changed the promotional poster for the movie. The film was based off the woman's life who made it and the entire reason the person had for making the film was to expose how sexualized the girls are. It's supposedly a tough watch and it's supposed to be. This movie got to America and everything about it was lost in translation...Sorry brother I dont agree. There are some common morals in the US, this should be one of them. They keep their pedophile artwork in France
Yea I have read articles and their explanation as why they made it. Look at this way. If I wanted to make a video condemning spousal abuse, should I make a video clip of me physically beating my wife? Nah man. There is public outrage over this film on both sides of the aisle, as there should be. I have read the reviews and alot of them are saying its beautiful story of how an 11 year old explores her sexuality. Wait what? Its disgusting. There is no valid reason for an 11 year to flash her breasts, take pictures of a boy penis, grab her crotch and twerk for adult security guards, have her pants pulled down to expose herself, etc. I havent seen it but thats the descriptions in IMDB warnings section.Netflix actually changed the promotional poster for the movie. However, the most horrifying scene comes when Amy’s older family member finally discovers it was her that stole his phone, and tries to take it back.
In a desperate effort to convince him to give it back, she begins stripping off slowly.
Clearly shocked and disgusted, the man pushes her away and shouts: “What is wrong with you?”
In a moment that has left viewers disgusted, Amy then grabs the phone and locks herself in the bathroom, before stripping off her bottoms and taking a "nude photo" of herself. Without hesitation, she then posts it online.
I'm with all of your points. And the question wasn't just for DMAC. I tagged him regarding a different discussion.I'm not DMAC however I can address these points.
If a man or woman can choose to be the opposite sex today and that's OK, why can't someone choose to be a "blue life". I have family and close friends (several who are black) who are LEOs and they all tell me it's a brother/sisterhood. They do a very tough job for not very much money because most love it.
In your other scenario, my mom was attacked by a black man who tried to rape her when she was a teen. Some soldiers saw it happen and beat the sh*t out of the attacker. I myself was mugged by 3 older black kids when I was 9 or 10. So based on you statement above, I should be able to get away with attacking 4 random black people? No sir, two wrongs don't make a right.
As far as his actions not being backed by BLM, there is video of them trying to block the entrance of the hospital and people yelling they hope the LEOs die. This has happened several times over the years. Where is BLM condemning the multiple deaths of LEOs by rioters? Actions are stronger than words.
While I have seen both side guilty of being intolerant. from what I see on Facebook, my friends who lean to the left are more intolerant than my friends who lean to the right.
As far as the division in America, I agree there shouldn't be however the sad reality is, it's there. I don't care what you believe of what your political leanings are. If you're my friend, you're my friend. However if I don't agree with someone's ideology, I do object to being called a racist. Oh and if you're of the belief minorities can't be racist, I have more minority blood than white so I can't be a racist, right?
You seem like a good guy. I could drink some beers with you and listen to some music because I can talk about that all day long.
I agree with everything you said. Despicable! And personally I hate that folks have taken Black Lives Matter" and are using it to promote evil. That is in no way what the movement is about. It wouldn't matter one bit. BLM followed the ambulance to the hospital and chanted "We Want Them To Die!" or something like that. Despicable.
This was a set up murder or attempted murder followed by the most disgusting, most unhuman thing a group could do.

At risk of sounding insensitive. I can put all of this away if someone would just try to answer a few simple questions. I am not trying to provoke anyone. I am being sincere and trying to understand why we always assume its racial.
First of all what happened to George Floyd and Prude were both wrong in my eyes. Floyd appeared intentional, not sure about Prude maybe it was accidental but still wrong. I am just basing this off the video I have seen. There is no excuse for what Chauvin did. He should face murder charges and if found guilty then jail time. Floyd was NOT resisting from what I saw so there was no need the knee in the neck.
My question to anyone of you is why is it ASSUMED Floyd was a racial killing? Seriously. Is there any evidence this was a hate crime? I am not saying it wasn't but everyone has just assumed it was. Maybe they are right but shouldn't there be some sort of history showing prejudice before we burn the country down of racism and change sports into a Marxist movement? Its a legit question. Could we please follow facts over assumptions before we convict someone? If justice is blind then social justice is presumptuous and misleading.
As for Blake. I said this in another thread. We keep hearing he was shot 7 times in the back. It sounds horrible. Why was he shot? Are we to believe it was because he was black? Does anyone ever look at the facts anymore? He was reaching under his seat and had his back to the officers. That is why he was shot after he assaulted officers, and 2 taser shots. I am not going to go through the facts on this again. If you dont believe that is a valid reason for the officers to shoot him or you believe 7 times is excessive then I ask you to kindly watch the videos below and tell me what you would have done different.
I am not trying to provoke or stir up a fight. Use logic and common sense please.
Person shot multiple times and still managed to grab a cop while holding a knife
Resisted arrest and taser and still shot state troopers
First of all. There has been zero evidence the Floyd death was racial. I researched this for hours and I wasnt able to find one thing. Yes I also saw they knew each and they both didnt like each other. How is that racial? If you have something please share it. My point is this is a very emotional topic but just because someone believes it is racial doesnt mean it is. I realize how that sounds and please do not take offense to it. I am just trying to be rational. But ask yourself when you first heard about this what was your initial reaction? Did you immediately think it was racially based? if so why is that?Floyd's murder I believe was racial. And it doesn't really have anything to do with that particular incident. Apparently Chauvin & Floyd knew/worked together previously doing security and it's known that Chauvin didn't like Floyd. I'll do some digging but I do believe Chauvin has made racial comments prior to. And I think he took this opportunity to kill him. Again, I'll have to o more research but that's my opinion as of today.
When you get a chance watch those videos. It doesnt appear you did. Blake was not killed. He is though now paralyzed.Blake put officers thru it. With that particular instance what I gather from it was 7 shots was excessive; which is why folks are pissed. I'll aslo state that yes, he resisted and was tasered and kept coming. But did he have to be killed? We see countless video of our white counterparts doing the same and even worse and still be apprehended alive to face their day in court. I am of the opinion that officers have every right to defend themselves especially if they're genuinely fear for their lives. But from videos we're privy to seeing, when the offender is Caucasian, those officers are a little less fearful...

This is how it starts....remove the resistance. I wish people would the wake up and realize they are being used to destroy our country and transform it into the next Venezuela. AOC the socialist moron helped this guy beat a moderate Kennedy in MA. Unreal. And people voted for this idiot. How about this, we strip his security detail of all weapons. Wonder how'd he like that?
1. The Party for Socialism and Liberation stands for the overthrow, dismantling and complete replacement of the core institutions of the capitalist state, which are the “special bodies of armed men,” namely the police, prisons, military and courts. This core of the capitalist state cannot be reformed into a neutral body. It must be abolished by means of a revolution.
.....
We unite with the sentiment of those who are demanding “abolish the police.” It is a rejection of the whole capitalist state apparatus.
.....
To abolish capitalist law enforcement would therefore require first to abolish capitalist law itself. The struggle to eliminate the existing police forces thus must be approached as part of a revolutionary struggle to overthrow capitalism and class society, and to replace the existing state with a socialist government and system.

You're right...my mistake.I thought Jacob Blake was still alive

I respect you brother but that's insane.
I wish there was a way to separate the sentiment of Black Lives Matter from the BLM organization. I’ve seen on social media other people support the sentiment but rebuke the organization. I know it’s my fault, but whenever I hear or see BLM I think of the organization and what they stand for and it infuriates me. I don’t think disagreeing with the organization makes me racist though."what happened to those 2 California cops is disgusting and horrible! I will in NO WAY try to defend that murder or any other random act of violence; wrong is wrong."
No way am I justifying what happened to those cops. While I do understand the anger associated with the act, that doesn't in any way make it right and those guys should be thrown under the jail.
You're exactly right! Just because a person of a certain ethnic group commits a horrible act in no way means retaliation should be taken out on innocent individuals in that ethnic group....
There are no blue lives. No one on this planet is born blue. Being a LEO is a choice; unlike race. That term is used in direct opposition to Black Lives Matter; as is All Lives Matter. It's disingenuous at best and used to detract. I'll Back the Blue; I absolutely support LEOs. Yes, it is possible to support police and understand that Black Lives Matter.
