SignUp Now!Fed Chair Powell speech today to reassess inflation targets of 2%Moreover, as the long expansion continued, the gains began to be shared more widely across society. The Black and Hispanic unemployment rates reached record lows, and the differentials between these rates and the white unemployment rate narrowed to their lowest levels on record.14 As we heard repeatedly in our Fed Listens events, the robust job market was delivering life-changing gains for many individuals, families, and communities, particularly at the lower end of the income spectrum.15 In addition, many who had been left behind for too long were finding jobs, benefiting their families and communities, and increasing the productive capacity of our economy. Before the pandemic, there was every reason to expect that these gains would continue. It is hard to overstate the benefits of sustaining a strong labor market, a key national goal that will require a range of policies in addition to supportive monetary policy.
I can ask you the same thing. What makes you think he is? I doubt you or I have known him personally. But if he is racist why did he date a black woman? As Herschel Walker has said he knows Donald for 27 years. If you havent heard his speech you should. And also, what's make you guys believe Trump isn't racist? I mean, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
Well Joe has had many instances in his decades of racial comments. The same comments if Trump made he would have been ostracized. Two different standards. Clarence Henderson speech was heartfelt to me. It was moving listening the stuff he went through. The one huge difference is Biden was the guy that pushed the crime bill that punished minorities....the same bill Trump reformed. Historic funding for black colleges. "Opportunity Zones" zones for inner city development. Actions over slogans. Can you do one of these for Joe Biden so we can see how he has fared over the years?
https://www.delgazette.com/opinion/80155/trump-helping-black-communities-thrivePresident Trump’s “Opportunity Zones” initiative is spurring even more economic growth in underdeveloped communities around the country. Through targeted tax incentives, the initiative is projected to generate approximately $100 billion of new private investment in communities that need it most.
That focus on expanding economic opportunity for minorities has been a major priority for the Trump administration. That’s why the president was so committed to reforming the criminal justice system. By eliminating the sentencing disparities caused by the horrendous Clinton-era crime bill, which disproportionately affected African Americans, President Trump is giving thousands of unfairly sentenced black inmates a second chance at the American Dream.
The FIRST STEP Act also included significant reforms to address recidivism, such as helping prisons improve their rehabilitation programs and allowing non-violent inmates to earn early-release credits for good behavior more easily. Thanks to this legislation, non-violent inmates will now be equipped with the professional and social skills they need to become productive members of society following their release.
President Trump also understands that the foundation of economic success is a quality education. That’s why he signed a $360 million grant to support Historically Black Colleges and Universities last year — by far the most that any president has ever appropriated for HBCUs. Even America’s first black president, Barack Obama, never allocated that much money to HBCUs.
These facts are undeniable, and I’m truly excited to help spread the word as part of the Black Voices for Trump coalition. President Trump has empowered African Americans throughout his presidency by implementing long-overdue economic and social reforms that have generated upward mobility in our communities. Black Voices for Trump will provide those who have directly benefited from these reforms with a massive platform to share our stories of “Promises Made, Promises Kept.”
Her family owned slaves. Her father was a Black Jamaican who migrated here in 1964. But you like her because shes black regardless of family history. If trumps family owned slaves you would be screaming. While Biden continues to campaign with an African American woman. Who went to a HBCU. Who is in an African American sorority.
In an article published by the Jamaica Globe (here), professor Donald Harris wrote: “My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown, descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town),” a town in Jamaica.

You know through our private discussion I have respect for you @DBut82 Unlike many others, you have always been reasonable. I try my best to be with you as well.
I can see your point with the whole raping of slaves. True both sides pander. Its politics.Dating a black woman doesn't mean the guy isn't racist. Thomas Jefferson owned slaved and actually had kids by his slave mistresses. I don't think anyone would argue that TJ was racist. From the angle that I do not personally know Trump I'll say this: if he is not in fact racist, then he undoubtedly loves pandering to that collective. Which you can argue is just as bad...
Of course nothing but respect for DMAC! Absolutely!
We can play this game all day. Unfortunately I have work to do. CheersA Silicon Valley billionaire who worked to “repair” the image of notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein after he was jailed for child sex crimes has now decided to help Joe Biden. Reid Hoffman
Reid Hoffman, who has also admitted he has financial ties with Epstein, is now dropping serious cash into the super PAC supporting Joe Biden’s candidacy.
