Is mack really gonna be there and just deflect all questions and announce later today or tomorrow? How dumb. I hope people pepper him with questions. Going to be awkward

yeah that pc if hes there will be a firey one..i just dont understand this whole process..its been ass backwards

I believe I saw that the PC is at 10 a.m. Is that correct?

Seems like an unusual time...it's not media week.

As much as I would like to hear him say he is stepping down as the Head Coach of the University of Texas my guess is it's deflection city...He'll say he's here to talk about the game and the kids. It will be awkward but right now it's all his doing, he could have made this a party but he chose not to so at this going he is going to get whats coming to him whether he likes it or not.

Have your popcorn ready it will be interesting.

Chip Brown is there. You know he'll try and slide in a question about it. Mack probably won't take it or acknowledge him at all.

Anyone else worried he declares this talk of stepping down a bunch of BS and plans to return next year? I still think he's done but I'm growing worried he's going to make this really ugly and drag it out for several days. I certainly don't expect him to announce he's retiring today.

he may not talk about it at all but I would be shocked if he said he's planning to be at Texas next year and coach. There was talk yesterday he's standing down...at the worst they are trying to finalize his departure package it sounds like in terms of $$. Makes no sense with some select players already in the know. If he came out and said that he may end up just getting himself flat fired

Either he's going to announce or he will not and deflect. I think it would be better for him to announce but announce after all questions about the bowl game and Oregon have been addressed first. He could then turn it into his presser after that.

If he doesn't announce, it will all be about him anyway and then the question becomes when does he announce? At the banquet? Has that been the plan all along? He can't really believe that in this day and age everyone can sit on speculation and news for a week for him to announce at the "ideal" moment.

he will deflect all questions other than bowl and team...hel say hes meeting with powers and patterson today...wel get a press release later today comfirming hes steping down. this pc will be a clownshow.
